BeYOUtiful Adventures in Speech is a pediatric speech, language, and feeding therapy practice in Cincinnati, Ohio. We are committed to making therapy an adventure and joining with families as they ride out the ups and downs on their journey to communication. Our simple mission is to help each child become their best self, share their uniqueness with the world, and accomplish hard things- because we know that they can!

Evaluations & Therapy Services for Children of All Ages
Speech
Not being able to speak is not the same as having nothing to say. We help children with significant speech barriers learn how to move their jaw, lips, and tongue so that they can clearly produce speech sounds. Our advanced training in PROMPT and motor-based therapy approaches allows us to get all of their senses involved (auditory, visual, tactile, kinesthetic) in the learning process during play-based activities.
Language
Language is the cornerstone of human interaction. We honor all language modalities and provide therapeutic support to help children use oral language, AAC, and/or signs to communicate. Whether a child has difficulty with understanding words, following directions, expressing their thoughts, telling stories, or using accurate grammar, we have the tools and training to help them grow.
AAC
Every child has unlimited potential to learn and find their voice. We support language development through the use of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) supports such as PECS, high-tech devices, iPad apps, letter boards, and visual supports. Plus, we coach parents to use AAC systems with confidence and help families navigate the process of funding a communication device when needed.
Feeding
Pediatric feeding therapy can help a child develop essential motor skills for safe and efficient eating. Our sessions may focus on skills such as drinking from a cup and straw, using a spoon, and chewing solid foods. We partner with parents to help each child safely eat and enjoy a variety of different foods, and we provide functional activities, strategies, and resources for mealtimes outside of the therapy setting.
Meet Terri
I am a pediatric speech-language pathologist with over 15 years of experience working in private practice and educational environments. Throughout my career, I have become passionate about serving children who are primarily non-speaking or who demonstrate limited verbal communication. It is my professional mission to show others that every child can learn, grow, and communicate!
I started BeYOUtiful Adventures in Speech to help children find their own unique voices. I work with families to help their children grow into the best possible person they can be, and I am honored to have such deep, long-lasting relationships with my clients.

I believe that communication skills are at the core of success in relationships and life, so I am dedicated to using my knowledge in AAC, motor speech, and feeding approaches to help children develop strong relationships, demonstrate their knowledge, enjoy mealtimes, and successfully interact with their world. Every child deserves a voice.
I spend my free time enjoying the outdoors-- hiking, camping, kayaking, and going to the beach! I enjoy being creative, traveling, and practicing yoga. I am a life-long learner who is dedicated to personal and professional growth.

Getting Started is Easy!
1.
Call Terri at (513)201-8992 for a free 15-minute consultation to discuss your needs, explain our services, and determine whether we might be a good fit. If we agree to move forward, we will send an initial intake packet.
2.
While planning your child's evaluation session, we will review your intake paperwork and consider the in-depth information that you provided. The evaluation will take place in your home and will be scheduled at a date and time that is most convenient for your family.
3.
Our evaluation process will help determine your child's communication abilities and needs. We will work with your family to make a treatment plan and schedule therapy sessions to work toward the goals that we form together. Home practice activities will be provided weekly!

Speech therapy at home
BeYOUtiful Speech Adventures travels to your home to provide speech, language, and feeding therapy! Home-based sessions are convenient and allow for parents, caregivers, and siblings to get involved in therapy sessions. Plus, when children learn new skills in their most natural setting, they are more likely to use those skills in their daily life.
It's a win-win!
